At the AEEC, visiting groups explore topics including: The Alps: Time and Change; Mountain Wildlife; Alpine Farms and Villages; Above the Treeline; Exploring Forests; Fascinating Fungi; Alpine Meadows; Water Sources. The AEEC's experienced staff combines small group, hands-on lessons with field studies that form the foundation of each day's exploration. A study of plant biodiversity, quantitative teqhniques to perform a town study, tree biomass measurements, and water quality indicators can all be empirically explored while students simulteneously learn to work together and have fun as a group in a new and engaging setting.
